Operations Manager/Private Investigator

Eric Lane is a Lake County resident, born and raised. Eric in May of 2021 he retired from law enforcement with 20 years of experience 15 years of that in Criminal Investigations. In his 20 years, he has worked major cases to include Homicide, Robberies, Sexual Batteries, and High-Profile Fraud Cases. In Eric's career, he has received over 1200 hours of advanced training to better serve people in need. These classes include Advanced Fraud Investigation from Miami-Dade, Advanced Background Investigations from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Major Case Management from the University of North Florida, Advanced Criminal Investigations Analysis from The Sumter County Sheriff's Office to name a few. Eric was a SWAT member early in his career and a Hostage Negotiator once in criminal investigations. Eric's career has put him in direct contact with Judges, State Attorneys, and other law enforcement agencies as well as federal agencies. 
During Eric's career, he has received numerous awards and commendations, to include the Notary Club Officer of the Year, South Lake Officer of the Year, and he was also nominated for the Florida Retail Federation Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. In 2005, he was honored with the Purple Heart due to a traumatic accident that almost took his life. 
Currently, Eric is a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators. Eric is a proud family man with a beautiful wife and two amazing children. Eric is a Christian man, believing that with family and God, everything and anything is possible.
